Messaging Compliance

SMS Consent

Stowza-powered facilities use SMS for transactional self-storage account messages only after the customer provides a phone number and gives consent through an approved interaction.

Effective date: July 17, 2026

Messaging Use Case

Stowza provides self-storage facility management software. SMS messages are used for transactional storage account needs, including secure move-in links, payment or account setup links, reservation follow-up, rental follow-up, support handoffs, and facility account notifications. Messages are not used for marketing or promotional campaigns under this program.

How Consent Is Collected

Consent may be collected when a customer requests help by phone, provides a phone number through a facility website, completes rental checkout, uses a tenant account, or interacts with facility staff for account, rental, payment, or support purposes. A text is sent only after the customer agrees to receive the message.
