Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Stowza, LLC collects, uses, protects, and shares information when providing self-storage facility management software, public rental pages, tenant portals, communications, and related services.

Effective date: July 17, 2026

Scope

This policy applies to Stowza websites, Stowza-powered facility portals, public rental and reservation workflows, tenant account tools, facility management software, support interactions, and transactional communications. A storage facility may also maintain its own privacy practices for facility operations and rental agreements.

Information We Collect

We may collect contact information, account credentials, facility and tenant records, rental and reservation details, unit information, communication preferences, support requests, payment-related metadata, access and device information, usage logs, and records of consent or opt-out requests.

Payment card details are processed by authorized payment processors. Stowza does not intentionally store full payment card numbers in the application.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide and secure the Stowza platform, support facility operations, process rentals and reservations, support payments and account activity, send transactional notices, manage tenant access, provide customer support, improve software reliability, prevent fraud or abuse, comply with law, and enforce applicable agreements.

SMS and Text Messaging Privacy

Stowza-powered facilities may send transactional SMS messages related to move-ins, reservations, account setup, payment links, support handoffs, access information, and other storage account activity after a customer provides a phone number and gives consent through a facility website, rental checkout, tenant account, facility staff interaction, or verbal call interaction.

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information won't be shared with any third parties.

How Information Is Shared

We may share information with the storage facility responsible for the account or rental, payment processors, communications providers, hosting and infrastructure providers, analytics and security vendors, professional advisors, and authorities when required by law. We do not sell personal information.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Stowza may use cookies, local storage, logs, and similar technologies to keep users signed in, protect accounts, remember settings, measure performance, troubleshoot errors, and improve the platform.

Data Retention and Security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide services, support facility operations, meet legal or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, but no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your Choices

You may contact the applicable facility or Stowza to request help with account information, communication preferences, or privacy questions. SMS recipients may opt out by replying STOP. Some operational notices may still be provided by non-SMS methods when necessary to administer an account or rental.

Children

Stowza services are intended for business users, facility operators, tenants, and prospective tenants and are not directed to children under 13.
